We here at OnMilwaukee.com had a great time presenting Bar Month, which ran the entire month of February. Along with Dining Month, which takes place during October, it's a ton of content about the same topic, and we enjoy writing it.

We've tried a several other theme weeks and months over the years. Some worked very well, like Travel Week. Others raised a few eyebrows, like Sex Week. Still others didn't get the reception we hoped for, like Green Month.

Theme weeks and months are creatively fulfilling to publish because we can really delve into a subject and put our own OnMilwaukee.com spin on it. We've devoted blocks of content to transportation, to Madison to Milwaukee in Las Vegas, and more.

So what should we do for our next themed week? We don't have anything planned at the moment until our festival guide kicks off around Memorial Day, so the window for planning begins now.

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Please weigh in using the Talkback feature below.
