SPiN expands its food options

SPiN Milwaukee -- the Third Ward ping pong emporium, lounge and eatery co-owned by Susan Sarandon -- has expanded its menu has added some seasonal comfort foods to its menu of appetizers, salads and sandwiches.

There is now a beer-battered haddock fish fry with coleslaw, fries and rye for $12, meatloaf with mushroom cream sauce, roasted potatoes and haricot verts for $11, Ahi tuna with arugula and cannellini beans for $13 and cheddar and smoked gouda mac 'n' jack for $9.

The new dishes are the work of executive chef Audrey Vandenburgh.

"We continually look for ways to offer healthy, delicious choices to our guests," said Eric Kaye, Director of Operations. "SPiN has proven to be a popular choice for diners, and we're delighted to expand our menu to offer a wider variety of fare."

SPiN, 233 E. Chicago St., opens daily at 11 a.m. and serves its full menu until midnight.

35806 I went to SPiN for my first time yesterday. I think the business has a huge chance of being successful. Helpful wait staff, great food, contemporary style and entertainment.

35403 So let me get this straight. SPIN's chef thinks she is creating healthy dishes by serving fried fish, french fries, meatloaf with a cream sauce, and a mac and cheese? Wow
