In three weeks, the BoDeans will play a much-anticipated homecoming show -- their only southeastern Wisconsin appearance this year -- at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. (OnMilwaukee.com is a sponsor of the show.)

The gig May 28 won't mark the first time that Kurt Neumann and Sam Llanas play in the august venue normally occupied by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

Back in 1987, the band played a show at the Marcus Center and it was recorded for a special on Showtime cable network. Clips of that show are included in this video from NBC's "Today," which features an interview with Neumann and Llanas.

Check it out. And get your tickets for what should be a fun, intimate show.
