Within a week, drummer Andy Hurley will leave the country along with the rest of Fall Out Boy to embark on a world tour that includes stops in Mexico City, Tokyo, Moscow, Salzburg, Paris, London, Sydney and Australia.
Wednesday night, he performed before a sellout crowd in a different venue: the pitcher's mound at Miller Park.
Hurley, who grew up in Menomonee Falls and still lives in the Milwaukee area, threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Brewers' game against the Mets.
Hurley, a tattoed right hander in black jeans and old style Brewers T-shirt, reached the plate without trouble, drawing a pat on the back from Brewers catcher Damian Miller.
