Milwaukee UP: Gerald Walker doesn't sleep, ever, it seems

There's a saying that cautions "you can't rest on your laurels" and one artist that isn't resting on anything is Gerald Walker.

After releasing a mixtape last week called "The Other Half Of Letting Go" that saw features on DJBooth.net, XXL and others, Walker is using that buzz to move forward towards his next project.

The next project, which is due out sometime next year, is called "Believers Never Die" and the first single released from the project is "I'd Rather Make Mistakes Than Do Nothing At All..."

You can grab the new track for free via secure direct download link here.

Milwaukee UP: DJ Mighty Thor pounds his hammer, gives new mix

One of the more under-appreciated DJs in Milwaukee might be DJ Mighty Thor – well, him and DJ E-Rich and, well, lots of other Milwaukee DJs. Thor just released a brand-new mix for aspiring booty shakers to enjoy when they aren't in the actual clubs themselves.

Any good DJ mix should have moments of mashing that come off as creative and DJMT definitely provides those moments as he keeps the party moving.

Though I've never seen him spin live because I'm neither fashionable enough nor cool enough to get into the clubs he holds down, I've been a fan of his mixes for a while and if you've been following Milwaukee UP since it began, you'd know that.

This mix is very "adult" so if you have kids, don't hit play while the little ones are around. Remember, this is a club mix.

Enjoy.

Milwaukee UP: Born Brothaz love the Packers

If you look around the Internet, there is no shortage of tracks dedicated to the Green Bay Packers and their success.

Last year we saw Prophetic and Pizzle do a remix of Wiz Khalifa's song "Black and Yellow" – appropriately titled "Green and Yellow" – that caught on like a wildfire around the state, gaining over half a million YouTube hits and spins on radio stations.

Going into this season, the trio known as Born Brothaz – who are, indeed, all brothers – released a song dedicated to the Green and Gold called "Go Pack Go."

After a nice 3-0 start and what looks like a very winnable game against an underwhelming Denver team, a 4-0 start isn't inconceivable.

So, to all the Packers fans out there, here's another track that will help you celebrate your beloved football team.

Go, Pack, go!
