Local rapper Steven H. Norris, also known as Big E, passed away as a result of massive heart failure on Friday, May 13. He was 39.

Big E was a member of Mayhem Entertainment, the group that served as a launching pad for local artists Los Glover and Raze.

Big E is survived by a daughter and a son.

A visitation and service will be held at Brentwood Church of Christ, 6425 N. 60th St., on Saturday, May 21, with the visitation going from 10 until 11 a.m. with the funeral service directly following the visitation.

The visitation and service are both open to the public.

Born in Milwaukee and raised in the Milwaukee suburb of Brown Deer, Concordia University Wisconsin alumnus Poppe has spent the majority of his life in or around the city and county of Milwaukee.
