This season, the Milwaukee Repertory Theater commemorates the 40th anniversary of its production of "A Christmas Carol" with a series of events and guest appearances.

It's a timeless classic, and a true Milwaukee tradition.  And, this year The Rep is providing many chances to connect with performers, local leaders and media "personalities" like me. Check out the full list of events below.  They are sure to spread holiday cheer from now through the end of the year.

I've seen "A Christmas Carol" many, many times and this month I get the chance to be in the show.  Rumor has it they may even let me sing with the cast at the end of the performance on Dec. 18.

I'm sure you're just dying to see my big stage theatrical debut!  Good thing is that whether you come or not on Dec. 18, The Rep is giving you a special discount on any adult ticket purchase.

Purchase your tickets to the 40th anniversary run of this festive Milwaukee tradition using the code "Milwaukee," and you'll get 20 percent off your ticket purchase (up to 8).  The offer expires Dec. 18 and can only be used for shows during Dec. 1-18. Click here to buy your tickets.

"A Christmas Carol" runs at The Pabst Theater from Dec. 1-24.

The official opening night is Dec. 2.

The Dec. 1 show at Turner Hall in Milwaukee isn't an official Rep production rather a radio play with many of the WTMJ-AM 620 personalities. With Charlie Sykes in the lead role of "Ebenezer Scrooge," the play also features Packers play-by-play voice Wayne Larrivee, serving as "The Narrator." WTMJ hosts Gene Mueller, Jeff Wagner, John Mercure and Greg Matzek along with many well-known surprise Wisconsin celebrities will be featured. It will be recorded in front of a live studio audience and replayed online and on-air throughout the Christmas Season.
