Colectivo's Troubadour Bakery debuts its new donuts this weekend.

The company introduced them on its web site on Friday stating, " (we are) excited to introduce classic, old-school glazed donuts at three select cafes: Bay View, U.S. Bank and Third Ward.

"Troubadour Bakery’s unique recipe uses pre-fermented dough (similar to a sourdough) allowing  for more developed, complex flavors, plus a hint of vanilla. Dough is mixed fresh, cut, fried, and glazed each morning in Bay View. Troubadour’s classic donuts will be available beginning this Friday, Jan. 30 in three glazes, while supplies last."

The three flavors are as follows:

  • Chocolate featuring cocoa from Barry Callebaut and 58 percent semi-sweet drops
  • Vanilla with real vanilla bean paste
  • Maple glazed using local Kallas Maple Syrup

Enjoy, and let us know how they are.  We're sure they'll be delicious.
