I tweeted this earlier today, but it's now official via a news release from the company.

The new Cousins Subs store at 1233 E. Brady St. in Milwaukee will open for business on Wed., May 12. The store replaces The Burger Joint and is owned by Rehan Khan who also owns Cousins Subs stores on Oakland Ave., Capitol Dr. and Appleton Ave.

"Brady Street is a vibrant, exciting area, and we're looking forward to being a part of it," Khan said. "We think Cousins Subs' fresh-baked bread and quality sandwiches and salads will be a great addition to the neighborhood, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to our beautiful new store."

The new restaurant seats approximately 32 people.
