Fein Brothers open house is today
I told you about the Fein Brothers new ownership in August.
Today, you have a chance to tour Fein Brothers Restaurant Equipment & Supplies, 2007 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. from 2-8 p.m.
The expansive showroom of restaurant equipment and supplies is really a dream destination for both the professional and home chef. It's like a Home Depot for cooking stuff. If you've never been there, you gotta stop by.
Fein Brothers has raffles, chef demos and beer tastings lined up today, so why not stop in to see a Milwaukee icon? Maybe I'll see you there.

I would have liked some advance notice as well. In any case, I hope the new owners aren't going to gentrify all the character out of one of my favorite places.

anyone can go there any day it is open. WHY can't this site give us AT LEAST a days notice? i am reading this at 4 pm. another BAD aspect of this site--no advance planning. a couple days advance notice would be better so readers can plan. thank-you.

This is a very good place for many types of kitchen essentials. The stock tends to trend more utilitarian and industrial than trendy, but that's what I look for anyway. I actually use my kitchen rather than just show it off to company.
