It's not even a Christmas song, but for some reason "My Favorite Things," from the musical "The Sound of Music" is always played during this time of the year. Probably because the Julie Andrews' movie classic is usually aired on TV during the holidays.

Anyway, "My Favorite Things" reminds me of one of the very first OnMilwaukee.com radio spots.  And, I want to share it with you today.  It's pretty funny stuff.

We enlisted Milwaukee icon Sigmund Snopek to write and record the jingle. With little background and a PBR in one hand, he banged out his own OnMilwaukee.com version of the classic tune in one take and in a matter of minutes.  Andy Tarnoff and I added our audio (we sound like we're 12) later in the day at Nitro Digital Studios.  And, a radio campaign was born.

Enjoy it at the link above or here
