Just before the holiday weekend, two of Milwaukee's most popular burger restaurants made another national list, The 50 best burger joints in America, ranked.

AJ Bombers ranked seventh on this Business Insider list, with special note given to the "Rube Goldberg-esque contraption that delivers peanuts straight to your table."

Meanwhile, Sobelman's came in at 30, mentioned for their "over the top" burgers and Bloody Mary garnishes.

The top five burger joints on the list were The Cherry Cricket (Denver, Colo.), Minetta Tavern (New York, N.Y.), Au Cheval (Chicago), Casper & Runyun's Nook (St. Paul, Minn.) and the number one pick, Hopdoddy Burger in Austin, Texas.
