Art vs. Craft to end

Art vs. Craft’s last event will take place on Nov. 30, according to founder and organizer, Faythe Levine.

Levine, who is an artist and filmmaker, produced 14 fairs – originally it was a bi-annual event – and is ready to put her energy into other projects.

The final Art vs. Craft takes place in the Harley-Davidson Museum from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $5 for people 14 and older; 13 and younger get in free.

I participated in the first three Art vs. Crafts and attended almost every one after. It's definitely the end of an era in Milwaukee, but the indie event had a great run and helped to cultivate a new vision of crafting around the world.

Where will I do my holiday shopping now?
