For the sixth straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, presented by Concordia University. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2012."

Lulu, 2265 S. Howell Ave., is remodeling the cafe side of the space, which also includes an adjoined bar and restaurant. Co-owner Sarah Jonas says the cafe –  which opened in 2001 – closed yesterday but will reopen in about four weeks.

"Should be a nice, new, fun space for holiday parties," says Jonas. "We're putting in a little bar and more tables to give it more of a lounge feel."

The restaurant and bar side is open and will not undergo changes at this time.
