TVGN, the TV Guide Network, will premiere a one-hour television special, "Entertainment Tonight Presents: The Katy Perry Experience" at 7 p.m. on Monday night.

With TVGN now owned as a partnership between CBS and Lionsgate, the newly-refreshed channel that once housed a scrolling real-time what’s on TV program lineup, can focus on programming. The scroll has been dumped as most cable and satellite providers have a built-in program guide.

A division of CBS owns the syndicated "Entertainment Tonight," and TVGN provides a new space for the producers to put a program pulled together from interviews and coverage that aired on its weekday show.

The Katy Perry special will spotlight the artist on the eve of her new album release "Prism." The show will feature Perry’s sit-down interview with Rob Marciano. During the interview at Hollywood's Capital Records, Perry opens up to Marciano about feelings she's "masquerading as a pop star," her past struggles with depression and working through the dark times.

"’The Katy Perry Experience’ is an up-close look at Perry’s electrifying music career, her red carpet good looks and her personal life. Fans will also get an opportunity to watch rare archival footage, including her first on-camera interview with ‘Entertainment Tonight,’" TVGN said in a release.

The program will include interviews with family members dating back to her high school years and key fashion moments that defined her style icon status. Nancy O’Dell and Marciano will co-anchor and Brooke Anderson and Rocsi Diaz are correspondents for the show.

Bastianich is an Emmy award-winning television host, a best-selling cookbook author, restaurateur and owner of a flourishing food and entertainment business.

HEALTH: Fox Business Network’s "The Willis Report" will host a special call-in show, "A User’s Guide to Obamacare" at 5 p.m. on Monday. Anchor Gerri Willis will be joined by a panel of experts who will answer g viewers’ questions on the Affordable Care Act.

DIGITAL SHOUT OUT: The Milwaukee Ballet is getting a lot of love from the Huffington Post and its Huffpost Arts & Culture section.

"We have these great artists today -- phenomenal technicians, doing things that dancers of my generation couldn't dream of doing -- but sometimes there is no justification for what they do, for the steps they're dancing. You need a reason for moving. Otherwise so much of contemporary dance starts to look the same," said Michael Pink, the Milwaukee Ballet artistic director, in the article.

The story takes a look at the ensemble’s "Romeo and Juliet" and ties it nicely to the state of dance today.
