After knocking 3 things off the list in an about an hour, we got ambitious and went for one more.  We headed over to 69th and Oklahoma to American Science and Surplus to find some unimaginable treasures.  I had been here before on many occasions but this was Jen's first visit.  ASS (I'm not sure they care for that acronym) is pretty hard to explain to somebody who hasn't been there before.  Basically, it's aisle after aisle of little bins full of weird stuff you won't find anywhere else.  To give you an idea, we left with 2 back scratchers, 2 miniature samurai statues, a card game call "101" and a Batman Pez dispenser.  I somehow managed to suppress my urge to purchase the bandages made to look like bacon but I may have to return next time I cut myself (did I mention the bandages also talk?).  If you haven't gone, this is a must-visit.  Here's their web site...

Type bacon in the search form if you want to see the talking meat bandages.

4 down, 96 to go...
