On Saturday morning Jen and I headed over to Granville Dog Park (107th and Good Hope) with her dog, Peyton.  My dog isn't allowed to go to dog parks anymore for reasons I cannot disclose.  Jen had been there many times before but neither of us realized until we got there that Granville was actually the first off-leash dog park in Milwaukee (a little bit of history we didn't count on).  I was surprised by how crowded it was being that it was the middle of winter.  If I had to guess, I would say I saw somewhere between 30 and 40 different dogs.  The cool thing about Granville is that it isn't just a park, it's more like a trail.  It goes about a half mile around, running along a river, with a hill right in the middle where you can get a good view of everything (including highway 145).  There is also a dog obstacle course along the way, complete with teeter-totter.  If nothing else, Granville Dog Park is a great place to get some mid-winter exercise.  I would imagine that during the summer it's quite nice.  Here's the website...
