28 Cozy up to a pint of the black stuff at Paddys Pub

Hidden just around the corner from all the oft-visited North Avenue bars is Paddy’s Irish Pub. Jen and I went there after leaving the museum for some much needed rest. We were told this was a better place to go during the summer because of the beautiful outdoor beer garden. That’s probably true, but the inside was nice too. It’s a small place but the service is friendly and the atmosphere is quite nice. It was a cold day so it was good to see a fireplace. It was also good to see beer... this would be a great place to go on St. Patrick’s Day. If you stop in at Paddy’s, make sure you check out the full suit of armor just inside the doorway. Actually, it’s pretty hard to miss. We’ll definitely be back here when it warms up (and maybe before that too). I’d like to plan to be there on a day where they have live Irish music (every Thursday at 9pm). Here’s the website...
