After huddling in the basement for about 40 minutes with my dog and very irate cat (he doesn't like being jammed in his carrier while eating dinner), I threw on my rain slicker and flip flops to brave the torential downpour.  I was on Wisconsin ave around 53rd street and it is absolutely insane how much water there is.  There was a guy with a pole trying to clear the sewer.  The water was knee deep.  It is pretty wild.  With a plastic bag over my camera I took a few shakey pictures of the deep water.
