Brew Fest is a huge beer-tasting thrown the Metro Milwaukee Kiwanis Club as its annual fund raiser. It will feature over 150 brewed selections including imported beer, malt beverages, non-alcoholic selections, and a large variety of micro-brews – many of which from Wisconsin breweries, In addition to the beer, there will be appetizers catered by Saz’s, a Raffle, a Silent Auction, and Give-Aways including a Buck’s ticket package provided by Connections Ticket Service. Over the past 8 years Brew Fest has raised a total $75,000, which has gone to support local youth via community organizations such as La Causa Crisis Nursery, the Milwaukee Christian Center, and Safe Kids of SouthEast Wisconsin. Regular Admission and Designated Driver Tickets are available for Advance Purchase only! Tickets are at Discount Liquor stores and are available on-line until noon on 11/7/08 at www.metromilwaukeekiwanis.org/brewfest. Tickets are selling fast so everyone to get their ticket as soon as possible. The event has sold out in past years! Also because the Kiwanis Club promotes responsible drinking, free Cab Vouchers will be available at the event, provided through the Safe Ride program of Milwaukee County.
