The Horizon League Network challenges Milwaukee!

The Horizon League Network has laid down the challenge to Milwaukee basketball fans this 2009 basketball season!  Damon Lewis of the Horizon League Network reflects upon the not so long ago glory days of the UWM Men’s Basketball program and the wonderful run they had in 2006.  Lewis recalls that "It wasn't all that long ago that U.S. Cellular Arena was possibly the most intimidating place to play in the Horizon League... Yeah, they were loud... and I remember being scared of the sheer number of kids packed into the Milwaukee student section." 

So far this season the Milwaukee Panthers men’s basketball team is hot in the Horizon League (an NCAA Division 1 program for those who may not have known) and will be battling UW-Green Bay for the first place position at this point in the season.  So can Milwaukee fans answer the challenge and fill the US Cellular Arena with Black and Gold to show the rest of the national audience what Milwaukee basketball fans are really like?  I surely think so!

Watch this game. you won't want to miss it. Oh and to OMC- UWM is ahead of #22 Butler in the Horizon League.

If we can beat Green Bay tonight and keep it rolling, maybe a tiny bit more coverage...?
