Last post I wrote about the spike in fuel prices and people in the community added their thoughts and views regarding my post.
This post is going to be about strictly diesel and hopefully just as inviting to comments and contribution. So here goes!

You and your brother in law are awesome. How do you deal with the cold starts? Do you have a heater, park indoors?
I really value your input, my favorite quote was...
"Hybrids get (relatively) bad mileage at highway speeds...and this is where diesel shines."
It's true. If you look at US government ratings, you'll find that the city mileage is actually BETTER than the highway miles. I suppose the weak 3 and other more progressive car makers know the fear that US auto-buyers have of the diesel for whatever reason.
Hopefully your comments will quell their fears. Hopefully we get a biodeiesel hybrid on the road in the next two years.
