Today began week two of the mind and body transformation challenge that I am participating in.

My morning started with week two of Boot Camp. Because it is so nice outside, we were able to do most of the camp outside. Outside camps are so fantastic. I don’t know if it is the fresh air or the outside sounds that help take your mind off of the work out. Of course it is definitely not the utility workers taking their morning coffee break that included donuts and, whether they liked it or not, lots of rear views. Bottom line is I can’t wait until April when camp is outdoors every day.

A week of clean eating and I am feeling more energetic. I have stuck to my plan and had my one treat day for the week. Unfortunately, I used up my treat day on a day when I was sick and couldn’t really prepare proper food. My next treat day is Friday when I pair it with a day of watching basketball—March-madness style!

I know my first posts were pretty negative and I was really struggling. I am amazed at how fast I am adapting. I sincerely hope that my upbeat, I-can-handle-anything attitude and the spring weather are not flukes.

Bring your worst Week Two -- I am ready for you!
