I predict that we are going to witness extreme growth in the number of Artists across America.  Being that our stimulus package is focused upon unionized businesses and infrastructure build out, the traditional white collar worker will be packing a lunch.  Way back when we were all trying to figure out what to do with our lives, our decision to become bankers, accountants, sales men, marketers was influenced by dollars and cents.  Its not that I didn’t like to take pictures and paint, its just I can’t make a good living doing it and the competition is vast.

Well, times have changed and with all this extra time I’m gonna have this summer when I’m laid off, I will dedicate my time to paint a picture of the bridges and roads that are going to be constructed.  I mean, how many pictures of bridges do you seen at European art stands?  Tons!  They are big sellers in Italy.    I will be selling my paintings in the Galleries in the Third Ward if you’re interested.
