So I see a post from one of the OMC honchos that some griffiti artist tagged their back door. First of all, I'd like to say that it's hilarious terminology. I may have a new phrase to replace "playing the back nine" and "getting to fifth base."

I'd like to take a stab at deciphering what's in the pic.

To me, it says the tagger is wiser, perhaps in relation to things financial given the use of the dollar sign for an S. And it would seem the tagger is wiser through the use of chemicals, thus the "chem i.m." adjacent to the "wi$er" statement. Is this some sort of post-modern theory about better living through chemicals? Are we talking chemicals like printer toner and Mr.Clean? Or the stuff banned in the EU under the new R.E.A.C.H. legislation? Unfortunately, I think this graffiti, or even each individual piece of graffito, raise more questions than answers. Hardly the clear message of, say, "Turk 182" or "FUTK."

Me? I've spent a lot of time in Washington, D.C. The capital of the free world has, surprisingly, quite a tagging culture. Milwaukee has a long way to go before it produces the likes of Cool Disco Dan:

or my beloved Borf:

So perhaps the OMC Back Door Tagger will return and write legibly. With a moniker like that, you gotta root for them.
