Are you afraid to wear color? Do you enjoy color but are not sure how to put different ones together?
Do not wear only boring dark and neutral colors because you think it is safe. Follow these guidelines and you will be in safe territory.
The first foundational guideline is to wear only one brightly colored piece of clothing in an outfit. Miami Vice days are over. Be sophisticated, not clown like. There are no off limit colors for men, just how many you use in one outfit. A neutral suit with a bright shirt makes the whole look pop.
Guideline 2 is to keep colors in the same color family. Do not pair a green shirt with a purple tie. Pair a green shirt with a tie that has the same shade of green in its print. If the tie has a purple and green print (such as paisley) that is appropriate as long as there is some of the same green as the shirt.
If in doubt about whether your color goes with the rest of the outfit, follow guideline 3, ask your wife or significant other. They are usually a good judge of color. If no one is available, call us!
We are happy to assist you with no only that particular outfit but can coordinate many different outfits for you.
A fashion tip for Milwaukee's male is too add color to your wardrobe with these helpful guidelines.
