The 40 Days and 40 Nights of 40: Day 7
Happy Labor Day. In honor, I slept in. There’s nothing better than a good night’s sleep! Don’t wait until 40 to get one.
I stayed in last night and was in bed by midnight. I rolled out of bed just in time to watch LIVE with Regis and Kelly, or at least have it on in the background.
Men, today is for you. You work hard. You need to relax and pamper yourselves every once in a while, too. That’s why I suggest this: this Labor Day go get a new mattress and a Lazy-Boy. This last year, I bought the most perfect bed I have ever slept in at Built Rite (my favorite furniture store). It’s so comfortable in fact, I could stay in it all day. However, the Lazy-Boy is in the living room right in front of the TV – the perfect place for a nap while watching the news or a good PBS documentary. I know men in particular don’t buy many “luxury” items for themselves, so here are two practical luxuries for the guys.
That’s how I’ll celebrate today. That and maybe a movie with a friend. I’m dying to see District 9.
I know men in particular don’t buy many “luxury” items for themselves, so here are two practical luxuries for the guys. Happy Holiday!
