10. You know how you meet people when you travel and they say, “Hey, if you’re ever in town, we should meet up”? All my travel acquaintances seem to live in Boston, and this is my chance to show up on their doorstep with a “hey, I’m in town.”

9. I love streets/neighborhoods with cute little boutiques, cafes, local weirdos, etc., but I’ve already done Brady Street to death. It’s time for Newbury Street in Boston.

8. I’m all about walking, and I like exploring new places on foot. What better place to walk than Boston’s Freedom Trail? Plus, I hear you can walk everywhere in Boston.

7. Boston is a great city for foodies. Eating my way through local delicacies would give me great material for my food blog.

6. If I won the lottery, I’d go back to school and get a PhD. In history. Boston’s all about history. You support continuing education, right, OnMilwaukee?

5. I’ve done the Miller tour thing. Boston has Sam Adams tours. Free beer in a cool city. Enough said.

4. I’ve never had lobster, clam chowder or most of the shellfish and seafood that made Boston famous. Help me expand my culinary horizons.

3. I love museums and try to visit as many as I can. Boston has lots of museums, hint hint.

2. I’ve never been to New England, but I like to imagine it as a place of charming Boston accents, Harvard intellectuals, Waspy country-club style, winding roads, crisp weather and wandering moose. Um, I really need to see it firsthand, right?

1. My boyfriend’s laid off, and a free trip would perk him up. Help me become the best girlfriend ever, OnMilwaukee.
