Wikipedia says this about a nervous breakdown:
"a specific acute time-limited reactive disorder, involving symptoms of anxiety and depression, usually precipitated by external stressors..." and "...cases are sometimes described as a 'breakdown' only after a person becomes unable to function in day-to-day life due to difficulties adapting."
I'm thinking this "definition" sounds like most days of my life! I'm not sure in an age of valium, zoloft and tylenol pm, can we even know if we're having a nervous breakdown?
Every day it just seems to be something else. I think all of us are stressed by the economy and "change." In addition, I've had a death of two friends recently, been working my bum off and have tried to date (with limited success). Then, there's a pending move to New York City.
Calgon, take me away.
Could I just be tired? I feel like I need an enema for my brain.
I don't believe this is indicitive of 40, just me, right now. Ah, well.
Until tomorrow...
