Today in the car the song "Boston" by Augustana came on my iPod and I sat there thinking....how could this be transformed for my Boston blog?  Well here is my best attempt.  (If you haven't heard the song before, you can check it out on youtube.com)

Up comes the sun, on Wisconsin, morning traffic has begun...

Oh here comes the frost, tired in bed and sleepy head,

I wake to great exhaust... but yet...

I love Milwaukee, towns don’t even compare, oh yeah,

I said

Alterra Coffee, I need it to be sane, oh yeah,

The Safehouse is concealed, Brewers have stadium sauce,

At their cool field,

I love the third ward too... Wicked Hop’s Bloody Mary’s come with shrimp too

But yet...

I want to see, somewhere with airfare, oh yeah,

I bet

It would bring me, joy to take a plane... oh yeah,

I said I want to go to Boston...

Where the tea party caused strife,

I think I'll go to Harvard, academia is their fame,

I’ll call my boyfriend yea, and we can go together,

Milwaukee only has buses, I want to take a train...

I want to go to Boston,

It’s what I’ve desired

I think that I’ll go downtown, I’ll take the “T” to find…

A pint glass to rise, at a pub like the “Cheers” set,

I hear Beacon Hill’s not a bummer, Salem would be nice... oh yeah,

Boston... some memories in my frames... yeah

Watch Brady in a game...
