Purple has been considered to be a color of passion. It comes in vibrant, soft and dusty colors. Purple also is considered to be a royal or majestic color worn by royalty and kings.

Because purple dye is difficult to obtain and expensive to produce, in many parts of the world it became associated with royalty, power and wealth.

Purple can be used as a pop of color or as a main color for a whole outfit.

Amethysts stones can come as a natural stone, or cut as an elegant piece of faceted jewelry. This purple stone has been worn for centuries in jewelry, crowns and has adorned accessories.

Adding a blouse or top, shoes or accessories in purple will add a vibrant color to a basic colored suit or skirt.

For men add a great purple tie and cufflinks.
