Looking for something to do during the weekend??? Maybe an off day from work?? Or perhaps because you are dying on the couch from boredom?

My recommendation: Go see the new Sony Pictures Animation 3D movie Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. This 2009 computer animated film is packed full of funny moments and is appealing to anyone from a 9 year old child, to an 80 year old grandmother. The movie is based on the children's book of the same name by Ron and Judi Barrett.

Without giving away too much information about the movie itself, Meatballs is a fun, action-packed adventure that follows lead character Flint Lockwood and his passion for science and invention.

The cast of Meatballs is not that shabby either with stars such as; Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Al Roker, Mr. T, Lauren Graham, Neil Patrick Harris, Bruce Campbell and Andy Samberg lending their voices to the characters and making the movie come alive.

This flick is a bit more pricey than your average mattinee or evening showing. It costs $12.50 in total at your local Marcus Theatre to see Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs because of the $3 price of the 3D glasses that they supply you with to enhance your movie-going experience.

Now, I haven't seen too many movies or shows in 3D, but this movie didn't disappoint me. It was just a really cool experience with the whole 3D element, storyline and animation coming together. Oh, and seeing it with my lovely girlfriend also made it even better. So go see it!

I was really impressed with the 3D elements too and the glasses weren't made out of paper so they didn't fall off your face!
