I was extremely surprised to read that Phil Cianciola was fired by WTMJ radio. Obviously I don't know the circumstances but he and Bill Michaels along with the other sports personnel are the only people at WTMJ (WGOP) worth listening to. Everybody else has such a strong politically conservative bias that it permeates every conversation. Phil was refreshing to listen to. I wish him good luck and hope to find him on another spot on the radio dial.

I didn't know, either -- I knew WTMJ employees, being part of the same group that owns the Journal-Sentinel, had to take a bunch of unpaid days off, and thought Phil C.'s was all in a block.
I have definitely missed Phil C.'s contributions to the Greenhouse, and while I don't mind Jodi Becker or Jon Byman, they aren't Phil C.

Wow you are so very observant, this only have happened like 3 weeks ago, and they have already been stories on this site about it. I am happy to see that the liberals of this state are so observant. Your next blog entry should be about Mayor Barrett catching a beat down, and try to make it more than one paragraph... if you can.
