Today will be my last entry as I have now been blogging for 40 days, the 20 days before my 40th birthday and the 20 days after.  Whew!

I just went back and read day one for the first time since I published it.

As I said, I do feel more impowered, "wiser," and I think I've finally started reducing the stress in my life (have you tried Reiki?  It's great).

I'm not sure I've added any insight per se into turning 40, however, I do hope I have set a tone for someone who is looking forward to the second half of thier life with optimism, kindness, and wonder at what may be to come.  This is an interesting time to be taking account of your life.  I've talked about how lucky I am to have good family and friends, smart enough to provide for myself and how I believe that empathy and human kindness will open the door for all of us - and definitely karmically (oh, I do believe in that - it comes around, kids).

I hope your 40 years have been as full as mine...and the next 40 are full of hope and surprises.

Tomorrow I'm going to have a glass of wine, visit with friends and family... not much different form my 30s.  ;)
