Wear Your Heart On Your Sleeve: The T-shirt Transformed
This is an open invitation to all local artists to participate in Spring Gallery night by either donating a work of art, or to tak t-shirts and turn them into art. The results can be t-shirt designs, sculptures, paintings - anything. The final pieces will be in a silent auction to benefit Westside Healthcare.
We are working towards a great evening with a silent auction, raffle, live t-shirt screenprinting by Redwall Designs - and it's all for great cause.Please see our link for more details.About WHA:Westside Healthcare Association (WHA) operates two community health centers in Milwaukee’s central city. Medical professionals at the Lisbon Avenue Health Center and the Hillside Family Health Center offer quality health care services to people of all ages and incomes, <u>regardless of their ability to pay.</u> In one year WHA has seen an increase in patient numbers from +/- 15,000 to over 20,000 people. This fundraiser is part of a campaign to help raise funds to build a new facility to allow them to increase services and offerings. Current care areas include: pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine, women’s health, dental, case management and financial counseling.
