Chilly weather and rain could not stop Milwaukee from outdoor entertainment, could it? Hundreds of city-goers gathered together yesterday at Cathedral Square Park to enjoy a night of good food, fun and music. As I showed off my hula-hoop skills outside the OnMilwaukee.com tent, I noticed that the featured band, Valley of the Dolls, was stealing my thunder. Valley of the Dolls is an all-female funky foursome who know how to rock the stage. At times, I didn't know whether I was hula-hooping or dancing to their fun music. In my mind, they turned an evening from one that most people would be content sitting in front of the TV to one that is worth telling my friends about.
