What to See at the MKE Film Fest - Friday 9/23

Each day of the Milwaukee Film Festival, I'm going to have a recommendation for something people should see. I know there are an aimless bunch of you who want to attend the fest, but still don't have everything pegged down as far as what you're going to see. This is for you.
As a member of this year's Festival Program Committee, I'm familiar with plenty of the titles on the schedule and will be drawing from that pool. Look for my recommendations a day prior to when they play. Naturally, I won't be doing this for opening night because there is only one film. So, here's what you should see tomorrow - 9/23:
Make Believe (official description):
"A coming of age journey set in the quirky subculture of magic, this film follows six of the world's best young magicians as they battle for the title of Teen World Champion."
Make Believe is an entertaining and quirky documentary that sheds light on the peculiar world of amateur magic competitions. All of the film's subjects are unique and interesting in their own right (though some more than others). And even more importantly, the magic routines and illusions they perform are sometimes quite fun.
The film starts at 7 p.m. at the Marcus Ridge Cinema and runs 88 minutes. Could be fun for the whole family - no parental advisories here.
