Reckless Ones Perform 29 January at Club Anything

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Reckless Ones 29 January Club Anything 8 p.m. Milwaukee Minneapolis-based modern rockabilly/psychobilly favorites Reckless Ones take the stage 29 January at Club Anything , 807 S. 5th Street . This modern day Stray Cats-esque trio includes Kevin O'Leary on guitar and vocals, Adam Boatright on upright bass, and Dylan Patterson playing the stand-up drums. Citing as their inspiration bands ranging from the Beatles to the Misfits with Elvis and the Clash in-between, the Reckless Ones employ elements of blues, country, and gold old rock and roll in their numbers and combine them with the enthusiasm of psychobilly (a marriage of fast-paced rockabilly with punk rock) and an infectious drum beat. Having self-released their most recent and second full-length album "Set the World on Fire" in 2010 after their touring oversees, the Reckless Ones treat audiences to dynamic sets featuring their vintage-styled modern sound. Their first album, "Make Your Move", hit worldwide record-store shelves in 2009, they demonstrated this with follow-up with tours of the U.S. and U.K. Reckless Ones started with Patterson's psychobilly band, the Corpse Show Creeps, when Boatright replaced CSC's bassist and O'Leary, at that time a member of Treehouse Bordello, befriended them both. The band played their first gig after choosing their name, which was inspired by the viewing of numerous 1950's-era rebel films such as "The Wild One". This threesome appears at 8 p.m. to prove that rockabilly's not dead. Cover charge is $10, ages 21 and up. 241 PRESS CONTACT: Industrial Strength Publicity
