Bombshells Burlesque Troupe Shows Its Love

In honor of Valentine's Day, the Brew City Bombshells Burlesque troupe shows Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission their love at the Times Cinema, 5906 W. Vliet Street on 11 February.
Twirling their tassels while they strip and tease, these lovely local ladies' routines will be introduced by the Bombshells' official emcee, Dame Kandi Kickass, who also works at Comedy Sportz and is sure to add an entertaining twist to the evening.
With forms that range from slender to curvaceous, and routines running the gamut between silly and sexy, the ladies dedicate the night to their furry, feathered, beaked, four-footed, and/or scaled friends who share the animal kingdom. Proceeds from the event will be donated to MADACC in an effort to aid their programs
which rescue, aid, and ultimately find loving families for approximately 13,000
stray, abandoned, injured, and/or abused animals annually. Boasting a higher aid and placement rate, MADACC is the most successful animal control center in the state of Wisconsin.
Love will be inthe air, and the evening's theme, that night.
The performance is a tribute to the recently-departed Etta James. James, who shuffled off this mortal coil on 20 January at the age of 73, was an American legend in her vocal performances of blues, soul, gospel, and jazz numbers. Best known for her song "At Last", James, a 4-time Grammy winner, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1993.
General Admission for the event is $10, $15 for premium seating.
