Faderhead and Caustic 29 March at Club Anything, Milwaukee

Germany's electro act Faderhead and Madison-based outfit Caustic will perform Thursday, 29 March at Club Anything, 807 S. 5th Street in Milwaukee.

Faderhead, on L-Tracks Records, is one man in the studio but will expand to a live 2-piece act on this tour.  Known for his techno-esque tracks that range from synthpop to stompy electronic, this Hamburg, Germany resident has released four successful albums in as many years containing 3 huge club hits including "Dirtygrrrls/Dirtybois", "TZDV", and "Destroy Improve Rebuild". His fifth and newest full-length album, "The World of Faderhead", is scheduled for release at the end of this month. Having performed with the likes of Combichrist and SITD, among others, he has been featured on the playbill at many well-known "dark" music festivals (including gothic, ebm, industrial, powerwave, punk, and metal musicians) such as Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, Germany; M'era Luna in Hildesheim, Germany; and Infest at the University of Bradford in the UK.

Caustic, another one-man studio band that magically increases its member number when appearing live, this time with darkNES (of the Gothsicles), dj :EYG: (former Gothsicles), and Eric Oehler (Null Device) as his back-up band. The Madisonian who IS Caustic, Matt Fanale, also known as DJ Eurotic, calls his brand of auditory entertainment "jizzcore" (a name chosen, he says, as a joke on the ridiculously high number of "self-indulgent, artist-created subgenres of industrial"). His music ranges from industrial to powernoise, with words set to it including lyrics to songs entitled "Appetite for Distraction", "I Play Computer!", and "Big Goth Mama". The night welcomes Caustic's new album, "I Can't Believe We're Re-Releasing This Crap" which comes out 13 March on LTracks/Metropolis Records, songs from which will be a good portion of what the audience will be treated to.

This intimate event is limited to 150 attendees. Advance tickets are available at www.elektrotrash.com for $18 or $20 at the door. This is a 21+ show, and i.d. is required.
