"Sanctuary Throwback Night" occurs Wednesday, 18 April, at Club Anything, 807 S. 5th Street in Milwaukee.

                This night (Sanctuary referring to the bar's first incarnation) brings former bartenders Shawn and Antoinette to the front bar and more recent manager Abbey to the bar in the back room.  Regular guest djs Dale and Saintpaul, who are known for their "gothadelic-synthpoppy-industri-funkin'-discobilly-retrogroovin'-electrified-goof tuneage," have been charged with providing the soundtrack for the evening.                 

                Dale, an original Sanctuary (what Club Anything was before it was Club Anything) dj, is known for reading the crowd and appeasing its every musical desire.  Saintpaul, who's spun tracks at parties and clubs all over the city, describes his musical sets as "like if James Brown, Nine Inch Nails, and Weird Al got into a bar fight.  Except less predictable."

                Throwing in a bit of original music from their "Greetings From the Imposter" project along with original videos and spoken word, these nights are entertainment at its best. 

                Cover charge is $3 and cans of Pabst are on special for .50.
