So I just hung up the phone after a much needed catch up chat session with one of my closest friends from college. We spoke about life, relationships, memories and how we dont keep in touch as much as we used to. Life has a funny way of messing up things to a point where people who you used to be attached to the hip with are harder and harder to get in touch with. Real world responsibilities are also big obstacles. Being an adult is great but college days were amazing.

In school there was a group of us, called The Fam, the four of us had a good time. It wasnt even about the typical college things, like drinking dancing and parties...even though those three did more than their share. For us it was more like sharing a pint of NY Super Fudge Chunk Ben & Jerry's with a DVD in someone's room laughing or arguing or just being together. It was the good life and we all miss it. We were all together in 2005 then myself and another friend graduated. Then the two remaining not only kept each other company but became a couple. Then the lady who I just spoke to graduated so it was one, the last one, the lone guy in our little group just graduated in May.

Now we are all out and all over the place. One in Chicago, one in Milwaukee, one in Indiana and one in Stevens Point. Sure the couple will move in together in Point, but I might move to Chicago, once again being seperate. We are trying to organize some sort of family reunion to play catch up and laugh like old times but even that is proving difficult We are shooting for a reunion slash celebrate the new apartment get together over labor day but who knows if that is possible. I sure hope it is because with friends this good reunions should happen more often. Here's to true friends and all the craziness they bring to life! :)

Reader poll
Would you rather suffer through a December of sub-zero temperatures and blizzards or a first-round playoff loss at the hands of Brett Favre?
I'll take the Ice Age and a Packers win.
I'd rather see the Packers lose to Favre so I can stay warm.
This is like choosing the least painful way to die.
