HAMMER SONG COOKIE CUTTERS by B. CUKLA. An American Tradition hand made by American Tinsmiths
Hammer Song , a unique and creative cookie cutter company, originally from the East Coast, but now based in the Northwoods of Wisconsin has been hand crafting flat back tin cookie cutters for 30 years.
Thrust on the worldwide scene in 1991 with a full feature article in the Washington Post, Hammer Song has enjoyed a worldwide following of bakers and collectors alike.
The originality and whimsical designs of these copyrighted cutters of this company are like none other. Where else can you find a CHEF MAN cookie cutter- a man in chef's attire wielding a butcher knife and holding a distressed chicken? or a cute CHIPMUNK or FROSTY, the snowman and how about their newest creation FOXY- a fox of course.
Hammer Song offers 150 cookie cutters in their ever expanding line. All designed and made by hand by Bill and Betsy Cukla.
Through the years they have been honored on the pages and covers of magazines including Country Living, Better Homes and Gardens, Southern Living. Cookie connoiseurs such as Rose Levy Berenbaum have coveted Hammer Song cookie cutters showcasing them in her definitive cookie book: Rose's Christmas Cookies. Hammer Song has been voted one of the 100 best craftsmen in American by Early American Life.
