Despite the stormy forecast, there is no better time to be in Milwaukee than in the summer.
I love my hometown because we are the city of festivals and we have so much to offer. Culture, art, night life, food, music, speakers, sports, adventure, speakers, venues, people, just life in general is at our fingertips. Every summer I have some of the same goals such as trying to attend every major festival in the downtown area, and while I intend to uphold that goal, I want to branch out.
I have lived in Milwaukee for most of my 24 years and there is still so much to see and do and experience. I want to create more memories because I know that while Milwaukee is my touchstone, my foundation, my roots, I have wanderlust and need to see the world. I plan on seeing alot of the globe and if I return to this city again is anyones guess. I may have big dreams but I know that nothing is a promise so Im going to savor what Milwaukee has to offer.
We are not a perfect city but wow we have so much potential. Go out and do enough of something/anything this summer and year round rain or shine!!! :)
