Martin Atkins with Greetings From the Imposter d.j. Night at Club Anything

Invisible Records' founder and drummer extraordinaire from numerous influential bands, Martin Atkins, will be joining Greetings from the Imposter's Dale and Saint in their takeover of Club Anything on Saturday, 6 October.
Atkins, whose personal resume includes drumming with Ministry, Killing Joke, and Public Image Ltd. (the post-Sex Pistols band established by John Lydon, a.k.a. Johnny Rotten, in 1978), is also founder (with William Reiflin) of "industrial supergroup" Pigface. Pigface, a virtual "who's who" of the scene, has included Trent Reznor (prior to Nine Inch Nail's achievement of great fame and fortune), En Esch (formerly of KMFDM and currently of Slick Idiot), Nivek Ogre (Skinny Puppy, OhGr), Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys, etc.), many members of the Thrill Kill Kult, and numerous others, and has released six studio albums.
Martin has, in recent years, taken to assisting others in their journey down the rocky road to fame and fortune in the music biz, both by teaching classes at the Madison Media Institute (in Madison, WI) and by writing books on the topic. He will have free download codes that night for his most recent volume Welcome to the Music Business...You're Fucked!
Locals Dale and Saint, members of Milwaukee-based silliness/musical/video project Greetings from the Imposter and regular Saturday night Club Anything djs, will be providing patrons with "all the synthpoppy-80's-gothadelic-industrialized-distortion-disco" (their words) they can stand, allowing Mr. Atkins a break so he might interact with his fans.
Cover is $8, doors open at 8 at 807 S. 5th Street.
