Greetings From the Imposter Drinksgiving Night Wednesday 21 November

4751-gfti

Wednesday's Greetings From the Imposter "Drinksgiving" show, featuring popular Club Anything Saturday night djs Dale and Saint brings a multimedia experiment (experience?) filled with synthpoppy retro gothadelic industrialized distortion disco.

Take one part band and one part video project, add a dash of spoken word and live theatre, mix with one real live artist commemorating the event with impressions on paper via paint and pencil, and you have GFTI's debut performance.  Straddling the genres of alternative rock, funk, punk, industrial, and ambient, founding members Dale (on guitar) and Saint (vocals and keys) are joined onstage by the Reverand Randy Rock inflicting the bass; Owen Strombeck on live drums; and lovelies Kim (formerly of The Shadowpeople) and Kiri on backing vocals.  They will be joined on trip careening down the musical highway by a few guests, ultimately providing an experience likely to be emblazoned upon your brain for eternity.

Pre-and post- performance, the audience will be treated to selections from the musical libraries of both (the same) Dale and Saint, along with regular club d.j. Beta.

Doors open at 9, and cover charge is $5.  Club Anything is located at 807 S. 5th Street in Milwaukee.
