Winter Gallery Night and Day

Jan. 18, 2013 5:00 p.m. - Jan. 19, 2013, 4:00 p.m. at Downtown Milwaukee

This gallery open house is the premier art event for both the experienced art connoisseur and the beginning art admirer. The January winter edition of this quarterly event features 48 venues throughout Downtown Milwaukee, including the special exhibit Sculptures on Ice, Milwaukee’s annual ice sculpting exhibition. Between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday, watch local artists and sculptors form five-foot blocks of ice into creative pieces of art in Catalano Square in the Historic Third Ward.

Admission is free during event hours, and free parking is also available at the Historic Third Ward parking structures located at 212 N. Milwaukee St. and 225 E. Chicago St.
