A Eulogy for a SUPER Comet: DJ Rock Dee a Fine Entertainer

The time has come for Milwaukeeans to say good bye to cherished entertainer and DJ, who with flickers of emotion and an empassioned style, bore his own well wishings with such lavishings of caredom on radio regularly, that with a gaping hole, not with just any person's shoes could he be replaced. He was extraordinary.

DJ Rock Dee leaves behind a beautiful wife, and six blessed children, as well a beautiful life with all the trimmings one could never measure.

His sincerity and purity, his clean style, positive attitude and smile bore the markings of a strategic career phenom, focussed family man, and a friend to many.

His illustrious career allowed him to open for Erikya Bahdu, manage a stage at Summerfest, and become a radio personality on prolific 88.9 Radio Milwaukee. He was the poster child for DJ coolness and will be missed by colleagues in the Music Industry.

Often he told Milwaukee listeners to Call Their Mothers, or to Get on the Phone and Call their Grandmothers. He would say 'DJ Rock Dee says you oughta call your Dad, and tell him hello, for me'...and always to remember to 'keep it real'. He did, in fact, seem to keep it real.

Why DJ Rock Dee succeeded in dying will always be a mystery to some, but for others, they, who know him, feel he was called to action to work for a higher power. He was a spirited man, whose faith and hope had much power to help others, and yet he himself succumbed to his own destiny.

His powerful message of love will always be remembered. Good bye DJ Rock Dee, you were THE BEST....and should be remembered as a you would have wished 'a True Baller'

His appearance and abnormal outburst in magnitude made him something of a "miracle comet" or a imperial being with supernatural qualities- A SUPER COMET....and temporary.

WJTI Broadcasts LIVE from Immigrant March

In keeping with WJTI 1460 AM’s commitment to the community we will be carrying the entire “First 100 Days” rally from Veterans Park on May 1st, 2008 live. Milwaukee ’s original Spanish Language station and the only one to offer local programming will be the official radio station to help bring this rally to as many people as possible. Owner John Torres says, “This is just another way we can give back to the community by providing this service to those that can not attend.”

There is an opportunity to make a difference in the community as well by sponsoring the live broadcast of the “First 100 Days” rally. I received this, and it really hits home because my own sister, currently, is ill from what our family believes to be overconsumption of Aspartame, as found in her Diet Soda. She has been checked for everything from Lupus, to MS, to Parkinson's Disease. With no proper diagnosis in sight, and over a year later, symptoms of a painful death begins to re-occur with her increase in Diet Soda intake, after 6mos of no digestion of Aspartame and previously marked improvement, only a few short months ago. You decide. Read On.One woman writes: In October of 2001, my sister started getting very sick. She had stomach spasms and she was having  a hard time getting around. Walking was a major chore. It took everything she had just to get out of bed; she was in so much pain.
Her Timeline: By March 2002, she had undergone several tissue and muscle biopsies and was on 24 various prescription medications. The doctors could not determine what was wrong with her. She was in so much pain, and so sick.she just knew she was dying. She put her house, bank accounts, life-insurance, etc., in her oldest daughter's name, and made sure that her younger children were to be taken care of. She also wanted her last hooray, so she planned a trip to Florida (basically in a wheelchair) for March 22nd. On March 19th I called her to ask how her most recent tests went, and she said they didn't find anything on the test, but they believe she had MS.

Recalling: I recalled an article a friend of mine e-mailed to me and I asked my sister if she drank diet soda? She told me that she did. As a matter of fact, she was getting ready to crack one open that moment.
I told her not to open it, and to stop drinking the diet soda!
I e-mailed her the article my friend, a lawyer, had sent.
Results: My sister called me within 32 hours after our phone conversation and told me she had stopped drinking the diet soda AND she could walk! The muscle spasms went away. She said she didn't feel 100% but she sure felt a lot better. She told me she was going to her doctor with this article and would call me when she got home.
Well, she called me, and said her doctor was amazed! He is going to call all of his MS patients to find out if they consumed artificial sweeteners of any kind. In a nutshell, she was being poisoned by the Aspartame in the diet soda, and literally dying a slow and miserable death. When she got to Florida March 22, all she had to take was one pill, and that was a pill for the Aspartame poisoning! She is well on her way to a complete recovery. And she is walking! No wheelchair! This article saved her life.  If it says 'SUGAR FREE' on the label; DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! I have spent several days lecturing at the WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE on 'ASPARTAME,' marketed as 'NutraSweet,' 'Equal,' and 'Spoonful.' In the keynote address by the EPA, it was announced that in the United States in 2001 there is an epidemic of multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. It was difficult to determine exactly what toxin was causing this to be rampant. I stood up and said that I was there to lecture on exactly that subject.
I'll explain why Aspartame is so dangerous: When the temperature of this sweetener exceeds 86 degrees F, the wood alcohol in ASPARTAME converts to formaldehyde and then to formic acid,  which in turn causes metabolic acidosis. Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants. The methanol toxicity mimics, among other conditions, multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus.  Many people were being diagnosed in error. Although multiple sclerosis is not a death sentence, Methanol toxicity is!
Systemic lupus has become almost as rampant as multiple sclerosis, especially with Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi drinkers. The victim usually does not know that the Aspartame is the culprit. He or she continues its use; irritating the lupus to such a degree that it may become a life-threatening condition. We have seen patients with systemic lupus become asymptotic, once taken off diet sodas. In cases of those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, most of the symptoms disappear. We've seen many cases where vision loss returned and hearing loss improved markedly.
This also applies to cases of tinnitus and fibromyalgia.
During a lecture, I said, 'If you are using ASPARTAME (NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc) and you suffer from fibromyalgia symptoms, spasms, shooting, pains, numbness in your legs, cramps, vertigo, dizziness, headaches, tinnitus, joint pain, unexplainable depression, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, blurred vision, or memory loss you probably have ASPARTAME poisoning!'  People were jumping up during the lecture saying, 'I have some of these symptoms. Is it reversible?'Yes! Yes! Yes!
STOP drinking diet sodas and be alert for Aspartame on food labels! Many products are fortified with it! This is a serious problem. Dr. Espart (one of my speakers) remarked that so many people seem to be symptomatic for MS and during his recent visit to a hospice, a nurse stated that six of her friends, who were heavy Diet Coke  addicts, had all been diagnosed with MS. This is beyond coincidence!
Diet soda is NOT a diet product! It is a chemically altered, multiple SODIUM (salt) and ASPARTAME containing product that actually makes you crave carbohydrates. It is far more likely to make you GAIN weight!
These products also contain formaldehyde, which stores in the fat cells, particularly in the hips and  thighs. Formaldehyde is an absolute toxin and is used primarily to preserve 'tissue specimens.' Many products we use every day contain this chemical but we SHOULD NOT store it IN our body!
Dr. H. J. Roberts stated in his lectures that once free of the 'diet products' and with no significant increase in exercise; his patients lost an average of 19 pounds over a trial period.
Aspartame is especially dangerous for diabetics.
We found that some physicians, who believed that they had a patient with retinopathy, in fact, had symptoms caused by Aspartame.
The Aspartame drives the blood sugar out of control Thus diabetics may suffer acute memory loss due to the fact that aspartic acid and phenylalanine are NEUROTOXIC when taken without he other amino acids necessary for a good balance. Treating diabetes is all about BALANCE. Especially with diabetics, the Aspartame passes the blood/brain barrier and it then deteriorates the neurons of the brain; causing various levels of brain damage, seizures, depression, manic depression, panic attacks, uncontrollable anger and rage.
Consumption of Aspartame causes these same symptoms in non-diabetics as well. Documentation and observation also reveal that thousands of children diagnosed with ADD and ADHD have had complete turnarounds in their behavior when these chemicals have been removed from their diet. So called 'behavior modification prescription drugs' (Ritalin and others) are no longer needed. Truth be told, they were never NEEDED in the first place!       Most of these children were being 'poisoned' on a daily basis with the very foods that were  'better for them than sugar.'
It is also suspected that the Aspartame in thousands of pallets of diet Coke and diet Pepsi consumed by men and women fighting in the Gulf War, may be partially to blame for the  well-known Gulf War Syndrome.
Dr. Roberts warns that it can cause birth defects, i.e. mental retardation, if taken at the time of conception and during early pregnancy.
Children are especially at risk for neurological disorders and should NEVER be given artificial sweeteners. There are many different case histories to relate of children suffering grand  mal seizures and other neurological disturbances talking about a plague of neurological diseases directly caused by the use of this deadly poison.'
Herein lies the problem: There were Congressional Hearings when Aspartame was included 100 different products and strong objection was made concerning its use. Since this initial hearing, there have been  two subsequent hearings, and still nothing has been done. The drug and chemical lobbies have very deep pockets.
Sadly, MONSANTO'S patent on Aspartame has EXPIRED!
There are now over 5,000 products on the market that contain this deadly chemical and there  will be thousands more introduced. Everybody wants a 'piece of the Aspartame pie.' I assure you that MONSANTO, the creator of Aspartame, knows how deadly it is.
And isn't it ironic that MONSANTO funds, among others, the American Diabetes Association,  The American Dietetic Association and the Conference of the American College of Physicians? This has been recently exposed in the New York Times.
These organizations cannot criticize any additives or convey their link to MONSANTO because  they take money from the food industry and are required to endorse their products.Senator Howard Metzenbaum wrote and presented a bill that would require label warnings on products containing Aspartame, especially regarding pregnant women, children and infants. The bill would also institute independent studies on the known dangers and the problems  existing in the general population regarding seizures, changes in brain chemistry, neurological changes and behavioral symptoms.
The bill was killed.
It is known that the powerful drug and chemical lobbies are responsible for this, letting loose  the hounds of disease and death on an unsuspecting and uninformed public. Well, you're Informed now! YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW!

Ornette Coleman Father of Free Jazz

Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Ornette Coleman, who also won a Pulitzer Award for Music was featured at the 2007 Bonnaroo Music Festival in Tennessee.

I was there. The day was sizzling, and hundreds dozed on the grasses, beneath the few shade trees. The water supply was limited, and the once bouyant 500 acres, on which the mammoth music fest is held one weekend a year, was now coarse, dry, and getting dustier in the blindstinging heat by the moment.

I and my friend creeped out of the music tent we normally would have sauntered out of in cooler conditions, and plopped on the hard dirt field that had foot long golden grasses already trampled down offering little comfort. We would have panted in that foray, were we able to part our cracked lips.

I searched for dollars, hoping that my friend would buy me some water. I went to the event broke, hoping to reap anything that I could from the rich sounding environment that was afforded by my $1000 dollar VIP camping ticket.

Blaaaiiir Bleep frazoodle doo dee blab blab blee....forget the heat. Let's get back in the tent. Ornette Coleman wails and doowolly wep wap wow affronted our love, confronted our fears, and spanked our ears. We loved it. With full throttle he stuck his stick of dynamite down our ear shafts into our guts. Inward we went....frashizzle doo whomp actzoobop, and made our way back to the front.

If anyone heard about that show, you would know that he then tipped right over. The Father of Free Jazz yawned, and sat on his stool, head bowed he yawned again, rather largely, and then he tipped right over to the ground. He slumped face first, and as he was dropping towards the stage, music lovers jumped up, stage hands lunged forward and somehow he was caught. Out Cold.

By his underarms he was parlayed, and eventually down on the stage, was he. The band had begun to hesitate and then stopped. The Bassman stood holding his Bass. I wondered when he would put it down, or if it was 'his' tech that was assisting Ornette.

The Audience yelled out 'Get him some water.', 'Take off his Jacket, he has too much polyester on for this Heat!', and 'Someone get an Ambulance!'. Camera's flashed. We looked among each other for answers. I left the tent. It was smoldering, and I would be next to collapse, surely if I did not heed my instincts.

Down to the grass I conceded again, and preceeded to call my parents to tell them news of this day. As lovers of jazz, I thought that they should know. Ornette recovered from his heat shock later in the day.

Should You Upgrade Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0?

Dear Tech Support:

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources.

In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3 , Football 5.0 , Hunting and Fishing 7.5 , and Racing 3.6.

I can’t seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I’m thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0 , but the uninstall doesn’t work on Wife 1.0 . Please help!

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain about.

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING !!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfrie nd 7.0 . It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.

You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony/Child Support . I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application “Yes Dear”
to alleviate software augmentation.

The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE! because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.

Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0 , Cook It 1.5 ! and Do Bills 4.2 .

However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0 !

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3 . This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system!

Red Skelton, one of America’s great clowns, talks about an American tradition - the home of the men of mirth - the Circus, is an ode he wrote, and recited on his television show. Actually, the poem, "The Circus", is a tribute to Red’s father, a clown, whom Skelton never knew. His father died two months before Red was born. But the love of clowning, the love of mime and of the Big Top with all its magic for everyone, is an innate thing with Skelton.

The Circus

The circus! The magical city

That appears and disappears with the bat of an eye.

A cathedral for children and adults

Made of canvas and trimmed with red wagons.

A sunburst of wheel, pink lemonade and cotton candy.

A temple housing the unity of man and beast...

All performing for the good of their fellow man

With shouts of glory.

The perfomers’ only reward is the echo of the applause

Dear Gail, if you had bothered to check the facts on snopes.com http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp , as the body of the e-mail you are spreading around suggests, you would see that the statements in the e-mail are completely false. I am so sick of seeing these urban myths wallpapering the world that have absolutely no basis of fact. This concoction of blatant lies was obviously started by someone that has prejudices against Obama for his race, political affiliation or some other unknown biased reason.

Wake up people, if you receive an e-mail that was sent to several people and has “FW” (forward) or “RE” (resent) in the subject line, including this one; spend two minutes checking the facts before you spread it around. Usually all you have to do is Google the “Subject” of the e-mail and it will take you to a website that either supports the claims or debunks them.

If this is the type of information that America ’s voters base their votes on, we are in sorry shape!

This is all that I know: When Bobby Kennedy was killed, the Kennedy
family gathered and went and stayed at Barack's fathers home in Kenya, where they remained for some time. I do not know if Sr. Obama knew Barack's mother, Ann, at that point, or not, nor if it matters. It was pre-Barack's conception, I believe, but I have not done the math.

I did read the info above in Oprah mag. Bobby Kennedy Jr. is
endorsing him. He himself cannot be in politics today because he has a vocal disorder and can barely speak.

If you think that my writing is stench ridden, then you should read Rod McKuen's poetry. Not to be confused with local popstar Rob McCuen, and his poetic verse....if you read RoD McKuen's poetry you would say 'Now that requires something on the rocks with a splash.' to digest.

Enclosed is a picture of Rosemary Spidell. She often said, when playing 5 card stud, 'Nothing Wild but The Women'. Her she is toasting us in Milwaukee, with a vodka martini or a sherry, one fine Christmas eve during the 70's. She was a WABI (Wisconsin Allied Beverage Industry) Girl. Think Laverne and Shirley I suppose.

I was amazed to find an enlarged photo of Anna Stone at the Art Walk.

I do not know who took the photo and had it enlarged, but there it was. So was Anna Stone.

I snapped this photo and off I ran to catch up with friends and to tell them what I had seen.

My friend Anna, in a picture, I said to them.

They had to use the bathroom, so did I.

We then were carried off by large groups of people we shall call friends.

Charlie Benke the Musician's photojournalist was there. He is great...and has pictures of most of the 'Great's' : Bennie, Louie, Sara, Erskine, Sun Ra, and so on.

Carey Borth was there with a camera attached to her face, snap, snap.

Mark was there complaining that I'd closed my eyes...and he had told me before not to do that, rather irritatedly.

Robert Michael Meyer was there. He is my son and my dreambaby.

Robert Ulrich the muralist turned photo essayist, and daughter Alexandra, 3rd shifter and great gal of fires is she, were there.

Steve Shrank was there with Judy Rowan, looking and looking at images and sculptures, while sipping teas.

I wore a very large hat.

I called Anna to tell her what I had seen. Her behind the glass, in an image, on a wall, and I got the feeling that no one in the room knew that she really existed...here.....in Milwaukee.....beyond the image.

Dear Marilyn Mee and Cohort,

Your article seems rather surface-oriented and barbaric. To 'prey' on someone because of the 'looks', seems rather antiquated or even cro-magnum.

I prefer to make them do stunts, I jest. More on that later.....in just a moment.

First for example, if I am considering a new mate, when one appears on the scene, these things I note: Is he first marked by interest in me? Are his ears, feet, and words, mouth pointing in my direction? What is he saying? Get real. This should be more than: Are his phermones jarting at me? What does he look like to me with my eyes closed?

So, what is his body language telling me at this point? Be scientific. Do not be carnal. Assume that he is 'taken' and wait for all the right signals.

The reasoning is that, all good men have a lady by their side usually, either in the past, currently or eventually, and you must wait for things to unfold. Pouncing is out of the question.

Never hurt a Sister or a Brother. Moving too early could damage the neurosis of those whom we are about to explore. Humans are freaks and fragile. So hang back and watch, women always get hurt first, anyways. Just do a good turn, and think without malice, and be sober.

Then work him like a dog and pony show. Don't give into low scores in any places.

I do not consider his attractiveness yet. That part is too easy. esp. in a world where women are inordinately judged for their physical beauty. The pattern is ugly and must be stopped. Male or female. I have seen earthly beauty cause more pain than pleasure. Is LUST not one of the deadly sins? Stay focussed on the big picture heathens! Otherworldly love or. Love that is out of this world is the answer. Hope is a plan.

AS I clear my throat, I notice character of dress. I do discreetly study his eye movements, and I do listen for slurred speech, as well as communication skills. Afterall, we are in Tap City.

I also assume, that if he is attractworthy, he already has a mate or two that he has to feign off prior to starting any new coup. So I remain in no hurry, and work into the study slowly. Afterall, I have identified my personal reasons for a relationship to myself prior, and it does not have alot to do with facial structure, nor younger age. In fact, if he is visibly younger or older than you, in particularly, do not get into bed with them ever. Moving on....

Then the stunts begin.

Oops, but first: I determine the validity, or set ground rules, of the social or work setting and determine if it is a viable condition for a healthy relationship. If it is a bar, then it has zero chance of survival rate if their is a significant age gap, so that direction should not even be a factor. That stands to reason, I am sure most would agree. If we worked together or met on the job, while one or both people were at work, the survival rate is 20% or less, all these factor into trust, a major component in playing for keeps.

After that, then I make him do the physical feat of some sort. In Jamaica, I once asked a prospective mate to climb a tree and get the Bread fruit down. I noted how he did it. Does he loft the Bread fruit onto the chicken coop? Or does it crack open on the ground? In West Allis, I asked one man to tear apart and replace my head gasket on my 89 Colony Park. In Milwaukee, I asked one if he could help me clean up my yard.

Men are very handy and enjoy showing their strengths. It gives them honor, in most cases. You can get really technical with it, if they have some special literary skills etc. Let them strut their stuff. Let them woo you and amaze you. Be careful because you do not want to have him giving you work related services, that is too much of a crossover. There are a whole new set of discoveries to unearth of you head in that direction.

Always check to see how he feels about Paul McCartney. That is like giving' the fruits' a metaphorical squeeze. If he has balls, he will say yes. If, No, then run.

Does he smoke? I look at that as well. How does he feel about Legalization? I question him on his woodworking skills, and ask him what type of home loan he has. 30 year fixed? Once I am satisfied, I can allow him to then submit a request for a date, written or phoned, or maybe send some sort of invite via e-mail. How you do that is up to you.

Tell him that you'd be interested in discussing some activity or hobby that you have unearthed about him, and suggest that you discuss it further. Flirt naturally if he is single, no one likes a bullshitter, if his singleness is undiscovered, let nothing ride. Walk.

I then adhere to remembering if his answers proved solvency, or at least solicited a small fraction of security reassurement or enhancement? Am I going on the date because I am intrigued or just killing time? I do this to be emotionally honest with myself, and it little matters later, for if it is 'meant to be' then it is 'meant to be'.

It is not until I go on a date with him do I determine if his features are something that I can study in light and angle for the next 50 odd years, but still not before I notice the timbre and pitch of his voice. Does it have a lilt to it? I abhor whiners, and I know this about myself.

After that, I prefer to study peoples reaction to his physical features, take note on his charisma effects on other people and his reaction to them and those reactions. Does he need attention from those around him? Is he crazy?

In this world one just cannot be too careful. Mental stability and clear reasoning is the most important factors, plus a healthy lifestyle, and LOOKS....Angry and Bitter Sounding Cougars, they are definitely NOT a hi-priority, Ms. confusers of age and beauty.

What IS important is their self identity being healthy, and I prefer original, and by that I mean, not contrived or overburdened by society's oft wicked imprint....any negative social imprint should be avoided, if that can happen...I mean you still can fall head first in a vat full of abuse, but strive to handle all essentials in a safe and orderly fashion.

Yet you want to make it look like you are not all about the 'cold and calculative' though. Otherwise we could just call you Hillary for that matter. After all things are a go, then cataclysm onward, as nature is calling now....and no time like the present to craft a careful longstanding relationship-non cougaresque and in style.

Those who know Peter Huiras' work as a luthier in Grafton are constantly impressed by his line of instruments that include guitar, cello, violin, and hybrid guttolini or gutefiddle.

His guitars are a combination of folklore carvings and pristine craftsmanship allowing the elements working together to look and sound first class. He uses rare and unique woods, and employ the poor, often in Third World Countries, to help create his works, giving carvers a better sense of self identity and an income that they would not ordinarily have.

He is noticed around town, usually in late nite Musical venues, by his unconventional look and group of intellectuals standing nearby, and will, at any given moment, share a small and ratty picture book containing images of his designs, impressing even the most sophisticated looker or elitist.

His appearance is noted by an open shirt, revealing silver trinkets on leather strings that hang down to mid-chest, and can often be found doing a silly belly dance. He scares away many by his casual underdress, but if one were to take the time to talk with him, one would find a humanitarian and a naturalist with an easy and caring manner who has important ideas to impart, in an attempt to reach the mind of his fellow man and woman, of any age.

Adopted as an infant to a prestigious and affluent Wisconsin family, Peter Huiras cares about the poor in the world, strives for peace, loves nature, and is willing to help work to preserve nature. He is currently up in arms, fighting to keep his 60 acre farm, owned by his family, but on the verge of going into a trust perhaps for organized religion, against his own radical notion, to sustain Ozaukee from overtaxing or even using the land to create an industrial park, for which it has become zoned.

Peter is being forced to move, after living there for nearly 50 years. He never dreamed that the end would come in this manner. He has even gone so far as to contact Ruth Kohler, among others notables, seeking help to preserve his home, that he knows noe hosts futher particular value because of his own genius.

He would prefer an art school or institute to help people on the land, than have organized religion or standardized education take root because of his naturalist inclination and his fervor for anti formalized convention.

If one were to see his vast collection of instruments, one would surely register his farm a national landmark. He wants to be the 'keeper' of the farm the rest of his days, and then turn it over to Kolher to preserve the concept of 'outsider art' which he has begun to explore recently, as well as his 'visionary' world of arts.

His Father, a very respected man, who, even though in his 90's, is not retired and who may never, does not share Peter's vision. He is a city Attourney in Ozaukee and is the son of a former Judge. He worked hard to till the farm as a young man, until he made his millions. He has led a life opposite of Peter. He and his first wife, now deceased, adopted Peter and his sister.

He did not know that Peter would bring such challenges. He does not understand the term 'art visionary' or 'free thinking'. He wants the land 'locked, stocked and barrelled', for his unevitable death and in candor does not feel that Peter is competent to care for 60 acres and has been trying hard to find a way and means for the land without any consideration for the future of Peter and his prophetic mass of instruments.

Peter feels that his artistic gifts are similar to Mozart or Beethoven, and knows that Einstein disliked formal education, and considers himself to be in a class of greatness, as these men.

What should Peter do? Where should Peter go? Who will buy these instruments that are increasing in value as we speak? How does one put a price on 60 acres that great works of art, such as these instruments, were made on? If Ruth Kohler and Mr. Huiras does not help Peter, who will? How can an ordinary person help? Why can't Peter stand up against the ideas to sell or give away the land? Why does Peter's family consider him such an anomally, and discredit his greatness instead of rewarding his greatness? Must Peter be valued among the dead instead of the living? Why does society value to horizontal man vs. the vertical?

WAMI X-mas Holiday Style

Wisconsin Area Musicians were entertained this year by Vic Thomas of Milwaukee World Festivals and Summerfest when the Ethnic World Festival Liason/Associate Entertainment Director of Summerfest, a main booker of local musicians, arrived bringing good cheer and odd gifts at WAMI Holiday party, held this year at The Ale House.

Billy Staffaroni, better known as Liam Ford and The Band in Black or Rockabilly, recieved Oven Burner Covers as his gift, meanwhile Barbara Meyer-Spidell of BibitMagnus and Mud River Lee and the Bluegrass Orchestra, picked up a copy of a Liberace Christmas album, originally designated to go Mark Shurilla, who did not attend, as rumors spread he was unavailable and at an archeological dig out of the country or on an amber venture someplace foreign.

All in All, fun was had by all!
