Bay View is a neighborhood in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, south of the downtown area and north of the City of St. Francis. The original Village of Bay View is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Bay View Historic District. According to the designation, it is roughly bounded by Lake Michigan to the east, Meredith Street to Superior, up to Nock Street and then from Wentworth Avenue to Pryor Avenue.

Milwaukee singer and guitar player Roxie Beane has been a musician for as long as she can remember. She gigs about 50 times a year and has upcoming shows at The Lucky Rabbit in Waukesha on July 19 and the Miller Time Pub on July 25, as well as a few outdoor festivals in July.

Service is something we take for granted -- until we don't get it. Then there are the guys over at Mr. P's Tires in Bay View, who went above and beyond in my first visit there. They deserve a little love for the classy way they treated me.

Back in 2011, The New Red Moons released its self-titled debut album to happy listeners and some strong local reviews. With the first album a success, attempt number two would seem to be the obvious next step, so a year later, the trio hopped back into the recording studio. Nearly two years later - after a successful Kickstarter campaign, years of mixing and production, a new child and more - the resulting songs are finally ready to go.
