Bay View

Bay View is a neighborhood in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, south of the downtown area and north of the City of St. Francis. The original Village of Bay View is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Bay View Historic District. According to the designation, it is roughly bounded by Lake Michigan to the east, Meredith Street to Superior, up to Nock Street and then from Wentworth Avenue to Pryor Avenue.

Rumors have been flying about a new "Sushi Innovation" coming to Bay View. We've confirmed that a new sushi restaurant, tentatively named Sushi Yuki, is on its way to Bay View, though it may be quite some time before the business will open.


The "tiny doors" are back in Humboldt Park

In 2013, "tiny doors" were installed at the base of trees in Bay View's Humboldt Park. Shortly after, they were vandalized. Today, OnMilwaukee placed seven tiny doors in the park - go find 'em before they're gone.

Rusty Sprocket shop owners opening Sprocket Cafe

In 2013, brother and sister Dave and Juliet Popovic opened Rusty Sprocket Antiques, a corner antique shop located at 3391 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. in Bay View. By the end of the summer, they will open the Sprocket Cafe in the space next door.
